The Courtyard Marriott Convention Center is a first class hotel, located in the heart of New Orleans. This brand-new hotel consisting of 202 guest rooms opened December 4, 1998. The hotel is within walking distance to the many attractions - the French Quarter, Riverwalk shopping, the IMAX Theatre, the Aquarium and a variety of wonderful restaurants. Each room is beautifully appointed with inviting decor and features complimentary in-room coffee service, remote-controlled television, voice mail, alarm clock, iron and ironing board, and hair dryer. It also has a heated outdoor pool and whirlpool. The exercise room provides a stair climber, running machine and a Universal machine. The hotel staff is courteous and professional, catering to the needs of each individual guest. The hotel offers meeting rooms to accommodate up to 60 people, upon request.
